Summary

Ansted's only known novel, The Son of a Bondwoman (1925), is a sensational tale of infidelity, madness and murder that moves through settings ranging from a Victorian sheep station, to Melbourne, London, Europe and Queensland. It was followed the next year by a poem and a short story published in the Triad.
